On our home page you will be aware that BDRW are running a 3 day coaching camp in Phuket. This is the first of 3 camps in Phuket, which will focus primarily on Coach Education.
Asia is an expanding market for rugby union and the introduction of 7s into the Olympics has fuelled the desire for expansion. We are keen to be part of this development and see our role very specifically in improving the level of coaching throughout the region. Over 30 coaches will attend our first camp and the following 2 camps later in the year will see the coaches through to Bob Dwyer Rugby accreditation.
In April we return to Australia and visit the St Pius X College in Sydney for a 3 day programme which has a full day for 13/14yrs and 2 days for 16s and opens. (See home page banner ).
As with all our programmes emphasis will be on quality technique leading to successful continuous play.
BDRW will also be working closely with the rugby teachers/coaches at St Pius X to maximise their enjoyment in coaching ST Pius X school teams.
Going forward we are hoping to finalise arrangements for camps and coach education in Kenya, Hong Kong, Narbonne and the USA, plus a return visit to Texas.

Investing in your own development “worldwide” is the most productive way to learn and become a really effective coach.
