Bob Dwyer's reputation as a Rugby Union Coach is well known throughout the international rugby world. As Head Coach with the Wallabies from 1982-1983 and 1988-1995, he took the national team to a World Cup victory in 1991. He later coached at Racing Club de France, Leicester Tigers and Bristol Rugby Club before returning to NSW Rugby Union to coach the Waratahs from 2001-2003 and later was appointed Business Development Manager from 2004-2007.
Bob's vast experience is very much in demand and he has acted as advisor in many situations where coaching appointments have been made both home and abroad. He is a regular speaker at coaching conferences.
In recognition of his achievements, Bob was awarded The Medal of the Order of Australia, in 2004. He has been inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame and has been the recipient of several media awards, both in Australia and the UK.
Bob is a Batchelor of Electrical Engineering ( University of New South Wales ).
Mike Penistone began his coaching career in the English Midlands and has coached both union and league. Mike's clubs include Cambridge University RLC, Sheffield Eagles RL and Nottingham RUFC. He was Elite Player Development Coach at Leicester Tigers from 1999-2006 and joined the NSW Waratahs Academy as Coach in 2006.
